Ingredients

Round Challah for Rosh Hashanah
2 packages (1/4 ounce each) active dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1-1/2 cups warm water (110° to 115°), mavahevahe
5 fuaʻimoa lalahi
2/3 cup plus 1 teaspoon honey, mavahevahe
1/2 ipu lolo canola
2 teaspoons salt
6-7 cups bread flour
1 cup boiling water (raisins will soak in this water)
1/2-1 cup golden raisins (fili pē)
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon ngaahi tengaʻi ʻakau tatau (fili pē)

Apple Honey Muffins
1-1/2 ngaahi ipu mahoaʻa fakataumuʻa kotoa pe
1/2 ipu suka
1-3/4 teaspoons taʻo efu
1/2 sepuni masima
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg (fili pē)
1 foʻimoa (can substitute 1TB ground flaxseed with 3 TB water. Allow to sit for 5-10 mins before adding to mixture)
1/2 cup plant based or dairy milk
3 tablespoons canola oil
3 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
1 medium McIntosh apple, peeled and grated

Topping
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1-2 tablespoons lolo
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats

Cinnamon-Honey Butter
1/2 cup vegan butter or butter, softened
1/4 cup honey
