Hudson Cliffs Baseball League
Founded in 2000 by a group of dedicated parents in Washington Heights and Inwood, the Hudson Cliffs Baseball League (HCBL) was created to provide an inclusive, welcoming space for children of all skill levels to learn and love the game of baseball. What began with six teams at Dyckman Fields has grown into a thriving community league, thanks to the tireless efforts of volunteer coaches, families, and local supporters. Since 2010, the HCBL has partnered with the YM & YWHA of Washington Heights & Inwood (The Y) to expand programming, secure additional fields, and introduce divisions like Lil’ Sluggers for our youngest players. Today, the league continues to embody its founding values of inclusivity, community, and volunteerism, serving multi-generational families and fostering a love of baseball in uptown Manhattan.

HCBL consists of five divisions:
Lil’ Sluggers: Pre-K – 1st Grade
T-Ball: 1st Grade – 3rd Grade
Coach-Pitch: 3rd Grade – 5th Grade
Kid Pitch: 5th and 6th Grade
CIT Program: 7th Grade – Senior (High School)
