I roto i te 2004, Michael administered the refinancing of the Wien House, the 14-story, 100-unit facility for low-income seniors and physically disabled adults that the Y manages. This refinancing was the first in the country through a tax-exempt bond issuance coupled with low-income housing credits. Under Michael’s leadership, the Wien House also became the first Housing and Urban Development (HUD) building to become smoke free.
I teie matahiti, the Y is completing a $2 MM capital renovation project for a new structural roof system with a state of the art playground, sprinkler system, play surfacing, and environmental education area. Michael oversees the scope development, budget, physical coordination, and reporting related to these renovations.
Michael has an MSW from Yeshiva University and a BS in Accounting from Babson College.
