In the Spotlight: Adult Workforce Development
The Y has a new Workforce Development Center serving those 18 + years old in the community. The Center offers free certificate training, career readiness, and referrals to employment to enhance New Yorkers’ access to livable wages!
The free trainings include Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Patient Care Technician (PCT), and Commercial Driving License (CDL). In addition, Career Readiness Workshops and other supports are offered to those enrolled, including Resume Revision, Interview Prep, and 1:1 Career Coaching.
