Fall Programs

Toddler Exploration 
Fall 2022 Semester
9:30 to 10:45 a.m., twice a week
This outdoor class on the Y’s rooftop features play-based activities, gardening, circle time and music, while offering children a nurturing environment for socialization with peers and learning the rhythms of the classroom. Designed for children born in 2020, who turn two before the start of class, to attend with a parent or caregiver.

Ukulele Shabbat
Ukulele Shabbat
Come sing and dance with us as we welcome Shabbat with live music, blessings, challah, and friends. All families are warmly welcomed at Ukulele Shabbat, one of the Y’s many community-wide celebrations of Jewish culture and holidays. There is no fee to attend, but please make sure to RSVP here!

For children ages 0 – 5 with a parent or caregiver.

Takes place each Friday at the YM&YWHA of Washington Heights and Inwood, room 312 on the 3rd floor from 11:30 – 12:00. Accessible by elevator. Stroller parking is available on the 1st floor. 

 
There is NO Ukulele Shabbat on Friday, November 25th or Friday, December 30th. 
 
New Moms Group

Parent & Baby Yoga
This yoga series is designed for parents/caregivers with pre-crawling babies and takes place at the YM&YWHA of Washington Heights and Inwood. Birthing parents should be six+ weeks postpartum, and cleared by their doctor before joining class. Led by Briana O’Melveny, a certified yoga teacher. Classes available in a 2-, 4-, and 6-class pack. Parent and Baby yoga is scheduled for the following dates in room 312 on the 3rd floor, accessible by elevator. Stroller parking is available on the 1st floor.
