High School Students From Northern Manhattan Make a Difference Together
The Y’s Jewish Latinx Youth Council (JLYC) is a bi-weekly program that brings together local Jewish and Latinx high school students from Northern Manhattan — Washington Heights and Inwood — to work on relationship building through social action projects, даследаванне супольнасці і ідэнтычнасці, і сумеснае навучанне.
The goals of the program are to strengthen the social cohesiveness in our neighborhood through hands-on civic-engagement, to advance a sense of appreciation of our diversity, and to build true relationships.
