Learning Labs

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the New York City’s Department of Education (DOE), in collaboration with the Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD), created a new free program known as Learning Labs that supports families of school-aged children (K-8) that opted for the blended learning model (some days in-person, some days remote) for the 2020-21 school year.

This program is only available to NYC DOE students, and both enrollment and eligibility are managed exclusively by DOE and DYCD. As part of its commitment to support the students and working families in our community, the Y will run a Learning Lab program from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

If you are interested in applying for a spot at the Y’s Learning Lab, please sign up through the DOE’s Learning Bridges enrollment site.
