Juan Mena je odrastao u Washington Heightsu, gde je pohađao srednju školu Park West. U prošlosti, Juan worked at a Golf Country Club and as a manager at a Parking Garage Company. He came to the Y in 2010 and currently works as the Building Assistant Superintendent. His hobbies are playing softball and lifting weights.
