The Community Hanukkah Committee presents Gawani Kuwala -- a light parade from Fort Tryon Park's Cafe Lawn to Bennett Park with awe-inspiring homemade lanterns celebrating Hanukkah and culminating with a public lighting of the hanukkiah (Hanukkah menorah), singing, sufganiyot (Hanukkah doughnuts), and lots of fun!
