Y COMPASS High
@ Columbia Secondary School

The Y’s COMPASS High After-School Program is a New York City Department of Youth and Community Development-funded program that serves 50 students from Columbia Secondary School (CSS) in cohorts of ninth and tenth grades.

The high-quality program provides academic support, social emotional counseling, college counseling, and enriching electives such as debate, executive functioning, digital art, college awareness, and community service. Through these activities, students are provided a sense of community to the cohorts, and individual support and guidance during the difficult transition from middle school to the first years of high school.

The program is open to Columbia Secondary School’s ninth and tenth grade students and runs Monday through Friday during the school year, los ntawm 2:45 - 5:45 p.m.
