The 2023 Social Action Summit

Location and Time: Y of Washington Heights and Inwood – 54 Nagle Avenue, New York, NY 10040 – Sunday, October 22nd, from 10am - 4pm

Description of Event: This event promises a day of meaningful contributions to our community, and we're honored to have Congressman Adriano Espaillat as our guest speaker. During the summit, we'll be rolling up our sleeves to give back in three impactful ways. We'll assemble hygiene kits for homeless shelters, donate canned goods to The Fridge at the Fort, and create nutritious boxed lunches for those in need. Our goal is to pledge substantial service to our community, and your presence can help us achieve this mission. We will then watch the special screening of “Names, Not Numbers INC ©: An interactive, multimedia Holocaust oral history film documentary project created by educator, Tova Fish-Rosenberg www.namesnotnumbers.org. Finally, we will all pledge to continue serving our community the best we can.
